Here is a little video/slide show Trey helped me put together from my Haiti trip in April. It’s unbelievable how connected my heart is with Haiti. It’s hard to look at my pictures without feeling a deep longing to be back in Haiti. I know this passion is from the Lord. I believe it's one of the ways He is preparing our family for adoption. You will see the pictures of the twins, Raphaella and Wanna, at the very end of this slide show. And, then of course there is Gaelle! You can’t miss her…her big beautiful smile pops up in and out throughout the entire show. She is my treasure…the one God used to open our hearts to the beautiful people of Haiti. The one God used to lead us to the twins we are in process to adopt. I so love and adore little Gaelle.
We continue to pray for Pastor Nahum and his wife who have been so amazing at keeping communication going with me on almost a daily basis. He is so sweet to call and give me updates on the babies and just to let me know they are both doing great. We are in a transition period where our agency, CCAI and Pastor Nahum are at any moment now going to be meeting and begin working together to make this adoption successful. We are praying for the Lord to show favor upon the people working with our agency as they approach Pastor Nahum and his orphanage and that the relations between all sides will be very warm and receptive. We are praying everything that needs to be in place on the Haiti side will be in perfect position to continue without any delays. And of course we are praying for the girls to be provided for in a divine way by our Lord.
I am very hopeful and excited about where we are right now…whatever it is deep down, continues to build. Lord, continue to teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Thank you my Lord!
